Officially opened in 2017, the multi-million dollar Lucas Community Hub is located right in the heart of the Lucas Town Hub. The centre provide places for people to gather, learn, play and collaborate in a friendly open air environment. The Community Hub houses meeting rooms, childcare options, play areas, consulting rooms and activity spaces. With on-site parking and disability accessibility, the Hub is easily accessible and open to all residents.
 

The City of Ballarat have a customer service area where residents are able to access council resources, pay bills or talk to one of their friendly staff members. 
 

The Ballarat Library outreach program visits the Lucas Community Hub every Tuesday and provides a Library service to the community. Each visit includes a storytime and adult activites are held throughout the year.
